What an incredible time to be in Seattle!
The first Seattle Art Fair made its debut in the WaMu Theater at Century Link Field earlier this month, opening with a special preview on July 30th. The preview was packed—I could not believe how many people filled the space! Even more exciting: the incredible range of galleries that participated, including Seattle's own Greg Kucera; Charlie James Gallery from LA; Gagosian, Pace, and David Zwirner from NYC; and even Kaikai Kiki from Japan.
There was a lot of great art to be had, and while I didn't take as many photos as I should have, here are a few favorites!
I still haven't made it over to Out of Sight, the so-called "real" Seattle Art Fair—this month has been crazy busy! In any case, the SAF is slated to return next year; I can't wait to see what galleries come, and hope to get involved with some programming!
